Arts
& Crafts Ladies working on (pineapple) quilt to be raffled
at fall breakfast.

- Pictured
above are Gladys Davis, Tillie DeMoranville, Gladys Creamer, and
Marie Eno. To date more than 5,000 items have been knitted and
crocheted by these and other senior ladies. The blankets, booties,
and hats are distributed throughout the United States and the
world for premature babies and babies born with Aides. Donations
of yarn (especially baby yarn) are always welcome at the Senior
Center.

- This
was taken the last day that Web Master, Brian Dawson, worked with
the Lakeville COA on their Web Site. We wish to thank Brian for
his many hours of expert assistance, and wish him well in Florida
where he will be pursuing his Masters Degree. Brian is showing
his motor cycle to Nobby Fredette, Steve Douillette, and Marilyn
Mansfield.

Macomber. The students who attend this class are Mertle Simas,
Marion Bollesen, Ada Beaulieu, Francis Brogan, and Fred Tibbetts.

- Valeria
Cavallaro, a student at Suffork University, gave a presentation
to the Creative Writing class on her hometown in Italy. She had
photographs, maps, and interesting stories to share with the class.
The Creative Writing class is held on Friday mornings and new
members are always welcome.
