offer many different activities at the Senior Center. We've video-taped
a few examples.

Arts/Crafts
- This group meets
on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00-3:30 PM. They share ideas for
crafts. They work on individual projects and on group projects.
Every year the ladies make a quilt to be raffled at a fund raiser.
Over the past few years they have held Fair Craft Fairs that include
lunch, Chinese auction, and baked goods. This past year they held
a breakfast that included the quilt raffle, Chinese auction, baked
goods and a few craft items. They plan to have a buffet style
breakfast this fall. The date will be announced when it is set.
At the present time they are working on a quilt to be raffled.
They are the fund raisers for the center. They also sponsor the
trips that are held throughout the year. The money raised for
these events help to supplement programs at the center and to
bring in entertainment for special events. The Arts/Crafts
group is open to everyone. New ideas and people are always welcome.
Stop by on a Wednesday afternoon and see what the ladies are up
to. The COA would like to thank them for their assistance throughout
the many years that they have been helping.
